The digital mixtape maker that feels like 2007

Not another playlist builder. A real disc: you pick the songs, write the note in handwriting, and burn it. Then you get one link — and the whole CD lives inside it.

no sign-up · no upload · the mixtape IS the link

What makes this a mixtape maker and not a playlist?

Three things a playlist app will never give you:

01
A handwritten note
Like the back of a jewel case — your words, in handwriting, on the disc.
02
A burning ritual
You press BURN and watch the laser go. It takes a moment. That's the point.
03
A physical feel
The recipient opens a CD case, takes out the disc, presses play. 30 seconds per song.

Everything else is what you'd expect from a digital mixtape maker: full song search, track order, your name on the label — and it's free with no account.

How the one-link trick works

Most mixtape tools store your mixtape on their server, which means accounts, logins, and links that die when the startup does. Here, the track list, your note, and your signature are compressed directly into the URL. The link works forever, offline of any server, and nobody — not even us — can read what you wrote.

Questions people ask

Is this digital mixtape maker free?

Yes — completely free, no account, no premium tier. There is no storage cost on our side because the mixtape lives in the link itself.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Making a mixtape and receiving one both work in any mobile browser. On phones you also get the native share sheet for sending the link.

Can I reorder the tracks?

Songs are added in the order you pick them. Order matters on a mixtape — the first song is a declaration.

What songs can I use?

Anything in the Apple Music catalog, searched through the public iTunes Search API. Songs play as 30-second previews.
